Greetings Pipers! We have a new website set up for PiperNet and PNSO. What are they? From the website: ``PiperNet is any network of programs that work with the PiperNet standards. Piper is a reference implementation of this standard. It is an application or system for the peer-to-peer (P2P) distribution of programs and data-flow. ``The PiperNet Standards Organization (PNSO) is a committee involved in the standardization of PiperNet protocols and interfaces.'' http://bioinformatics.org/pipernet/ PNSO membership is open but limited. We're not sure about how many seats we'll have. Obviously, the founding members of Piper are included. We'd also like to extend membership to LogiLab (Narval -- what happened to the website?) and dLoo (BlueBox). Others can include projects that may work with/on the PiperNet. We also have pipernet.org and pipernet.net, which will be working soon. Cheers. Jeff -- J.W.
