Is there a need for VLinux 2.0?
Submitted by Vimalkumar Velayudhan; posted on Oct. 30, 2009 (1 comment)
    Dear all,
Its long since I released the first version and I know it has got some good reviews. But what I don't know is how many people are really using it, how many have downloaded it and how many would prefer it over other distributions? Now this area i.e., Bioinformatics Linux distributions/Live CDs has gotten really big. I just came across this review recently.

So, the question is - is there a need for an updated version?
I did have some ideas for improvement but am totally out of touch on software in this area. Although I could look it up, it would be nice to have suggestions.
So feel free to post your suggestions.

    Regards,
    Vimal
