Transmembrane helices
[Menu-bar>Predict] At least one third of all proteins are transmembrane proteins but the 3D-structures of only a few are solved.
Therefore structure prediction is very important.
Transmembrane Helices are predicted from the amino acid sequences.
The predicted helical regions are highlighted in the alignment.
They form a selection for each protein.
