Side effects
Frequent: orange discoloration of urine, tears, sweat; uveitis seen w/high doses (600mg/d or concurrent use of fluconazole or clarithromycin). Rare: neutropenia in HIV-infected pts; hepatotoxity (<1%); pseudojaundice (w/ nl bilirubin).
Usual Adult Dosage
5mg/kg (300mg) PO qd or 2-3x/week; 450mg PO qd (with EFV co-administration); 150mg PO qd (with IDV, FPV, NFV, APV co-administration); 150mg PO qod (with RTV and LPV/r co-administration).
