As some users reported having problems with cross platform installer, we prepared the Linux installer with the built-in jre. The download may be tricky with some browsers. If the browser displays just trash on the screen instead of opening the "Save file" dialog box (interprets the file as a text), you can get these files from the alternative location: http://bioinformatics.org/ftp/jsight/. In this page, CLICK THE RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON on the file you want do download AND SELECT "SAVE AS" FROM THE LOCAL MENU. This version has improved xml transform wizard. It is now more adapted for cases when the document has multiple tags with identical names, and for finding the desired information the values of the attributes and nested tags must be checked. We also integrated a BioQuery that generates robots for submitting various queries to NCBI. SSH plug-in (JSch) is replaced by the newer, more reliable version.
