[Bio-linux-dev] Bringing the Artemis package officially into Debian

I am working closely with the Pathogen Informatics team at Sanger, who maintain Artemis at the moment. While there is currently no dedicated Artemis developer here, I might step in and help out (not being a true and tried Java person though). I would consider myself kind of upstream as I have made modifications to upstream Artemis before.
That being said, I probably won’t have the time to to major things like switch or refactor build systems. But if you can describe in detail how I could help I would be happy to do so (in my free time).
