If you don't want anything too fancy I would suggest checking out this:

Really easy and simple to use solution to keep track temperature, power
and trespassing. Its actually mobilephone that has camera, thermometer
and motion detection. You can easily set it to send you information if
temperature goes to high or too low. Also you can cofigure to send alarm
(picture or sms) if it detects motion in server room at forbidden time.
You can query current temperature or temperature statistics with sms or
get snapshot of your serverroom with mms message. All configuring can be
done with simple textmessages and it uses regular sim cards. One more
useful thing is that its always connected to charger and so you also get
alarm if power from that plug goes out.

Hi all:

I am looking for a thermometer  for our server room. The most important
requirement is that it can be programmed to send text messages or/and
emails
if the temperature exceeds a threshold.

Does anyone know anything this? Thanks !
