    I keep getting this when I try to add a job advertisement below.

    Anyways, any help is appreciated, I'd really like to post this.

    Bioinformatics Software Engineer ? Chicago, IL

    Developer/software engineer wanted to maintain sequence database and develop tools for model organism database. Work with curators and open source community to develop methods of representing, displaying and accessing biological knowledge.

    Necessary skills are Perl, Java, C++, XML/Data exchange and DBMS (preferably in Oracle). Knowledge of natural language processing, knowledge representation and sequence analysis is favorable. As this position requires utilization of lot of open source code, the ability to modify and adapt code is necessary. Conversely, good documentation skills are required to share code within the community.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed. Must enjoy explaining technical details to molecular biologists. Preference given to those with knowledge of molecular biology, but people with good personalities and communication skills that are eager to learn are encouraged to apply.

    The position is though Northwestern University in downtown Chicago. Salary and benefits are competitive.
