[ Ticket #1130 ] sending bug mail msg. always seen even in successful install

    Resolution:
    Not Resolved
    Summary:
sending bug mail msg. always seen even in successful install
    Original submission:
On Linux, Solaris and Mac, I am seeing a "sending bug mail" message,
even when the install completes successfully.

One other point on sending bug reports - this must include a Yes/No
prompt so that the user has a choice about whether the bug report is
sent. Something like "Okay to send a bug report to BIRCH developmers?".
This is actually a very important privacy issue.

Yes this feature was just a last minute commit that I made, it isnt mature yet - I cant set it up until there is somewhere for the bugs to go anyways. Closing this bug as this development feature has been disabled. 03/11/11 20:51 umhameld
As a followup, what seems to be happening is that the scrolling window with the install messages never terminates on its own. That means that the only way to get rid of it is to close the window, and at that point, a message pops up saying that the install was canceled. 03/11/11 16:59 B_Fristensky
