About Bioclusters	English (USA)
This list is a forum for users, builders and programmers of distributed systems used in life science research and bioinformatics. Our attempt to build up this community is due largely to the fact that the way biologists build and leverage clusters, compute farms and distributed computation platforms is in some ways significantly different from traditional HPC and "beowulf-style" approaches that are well known, well supported and well documented. The goal is to hopefully build up a critical mass of subscribers and contributors so that we can trade tips, tricks & advice specific to our chosen domains and fields. Using Bioclusters
To post a message to all the list members, send email to bioclusters@bioinformatics.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Bioclusters
Subscribe to Bioclusters by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
