Thanks for the quick update.  

I hate to disturb you in your "coding frenzy", but I have
some Perl/BioPerl scripts that I'm interfacing with PHP.
Could you check if bioinformatics.org allows installation
of said scripts?  

As for PROSITE, yes, it appears they do not have such a
facility/service for returning query results in XML.
