[meltsim] Meltsim for Unix/Linux

I like your response to Dominik. Somewhere in my
storage there is a fortran version that Jon had compiled
on my linux machine and was working ok. It is no longer there,
and besides it dodn't have any of the nice features that
you wrote into the pascal version.
