Or maybe running...

    ./loci

will, indirectly and by default, start the Gnome and NLI (in an xterm) fronts,
which are executables too.  And if the user wants to do something else, he/she
can start any of the fronts directly.  IOW, to start just the Web interface the
user will have to...

    cd front/web
    ./loci-web [OPTIONS...]

How does that sound?
