When you think about it, EVERYTHING must be passed through GMS first. Since Overflow will be (if Jean-Marc agrees) a node in GMS, the GUI must talk only to GMS. GMS would then talk to Overflow. The GUI simply cannot bypass GMS and talk to Overflow. I know I said we need to make 2 GUIs. We still do, but (and this is a Loci design) the Overflow GUI is only a REPRESENTATION of Overflow. Remember that we'll use XML to REPRESENT the actual applications being integrated. So, the Overflow GUI will puke out XML. It would probably be best then to make GMS communicate directly with Overflow, either via the API GMS uses for all applications or via special API. Any ideas? Cheers.
