With a great new feature Jaime Prilusky has recently added, now all you need in order to add a citation within the text of your wiki-page is the PMID (PubMed ID) number of the publication you wish to cite.

To add your reference within your text, just type "<ref>PMID:18673581</ref>" where you would like the reference to appear. Of course you should use your relevant PMID.

Then, don't forget to add the wikitext "<references/>" at the end of the page, or wherever you want the list of references to be generated. Proteopedia will automatically display properly formatted references for each of the publications whose PMIDs you referenced throughout the page.

For an example see http://www.proteopedia.org/wiki/index.php/Sandbox_1
