Carlo Lapid is a research assistant at the Marine Science Institute at the University of the Philippines. He has a bachelors degree in MBB, and is currently pursuing his masters. He enjoys (but is not yet very experienced in) computer programming, and would like to enter a career in bioinformatics.

I'm Yimin Gao, a third year graduate student at the Department of Computer Science at the University of the Philippines at Diliman. I graduated with a graduate Diploma degree in Computer Science from the University of the Philippines at Los Banos in April 2002, and I'm now taking my MSc in Computer Science specialized in Bioinformatics.
