I have a PhD in Statistical Physics and a couple of years of postdoctoral experience. Since 1999 I am working as a research scientist at the R&D lab of Unilever Ltd in Bangalore, India. My interest in Bioinformatics includes identification of regulatory elements using computational tools, hidden markov models, data clustering and in general development of new algorithms for identification of genes and regulatory elements.
