I have a vocational background in analytical chemistry. In 1998 I started my training in bioinformatics at the Academic Medical Center in Amsterdam. After a year I obtained a permanent position at the Bioinformatics Laboratory and the department of Human Genetics. I work on several projects, which are mainly focussed on the data management and analysis of gene expression data.
