I am Arden, a PhD student at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I expect to graduate in Spring 2007. My general research interests include data mining, pattern recognition, and microarray data analysis. I received my BS degree from Peking University, China, in 1998; and MS degree from Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2001. I also had one and half years\' working experience in software development. I joined into the UIC Bioinformatics Program in August 2003.
