Ahamarshan did his M.Sc from the School of Biological Sciences, Madurai Kamaraj University and his M.Tech from Anna University, Chennai. He is presently a Graduate student at the Department of Biochemistry, University of Oxford working on Transcription regulation. He is also a Teaching assistant at the S-Star course on Bioinformatics organised twice an year by the National University of Singapore.
