Topic: Greek character "small epsilon" destroyed by htmLawed in Drupal

I have found that enabling the htmLawed filter "destroys" the character "Greek small letter epsilon with tonos" unicode 03AD, when this character is found in the title attribute of images or links.

Please forgive my ignorance but I can not tell whether it is a bug or some setting somewhere that I should change...

You can see this problem when hovering over the main title of the site here:

I also posted about this problem here (http://drupal.org/node/747082).

Re: Greek character "small epsilon" destroyed by htmLawed in Drupal

Can you check the version of htmLawed (not the Drupal htmLawed module) used in the module? Either open the htmLawed.php file in a text editor, or check the 'Help' section of the htmLawed module on your Drupal website.

It's probably an old htmLawed.php file. The issue you are facing should not happen with the newer versions of htmLawed (1.1.9 and above).

You can download the latest htmLawed, and replace the htmLawed.php file in your Drupal htmLawed module folder with the newer one.

PS: This forum does not use htmLawed and the character issue you see here is a bug in this forum's PHP software (PunBB).

Absolutely right! It was the 1.1.8 version. I replaced it with the latest (1.1.9.1) version, flushed caches and the character is now displayed as it should.

Thanks for your assistance!
