Topic: Encoding problem with existing wiki page

Hi,
Just tested this yet another great app!!
However, I encountered one problem which I didn't know how to get around:
For each new wiki page, I was able to type in both Eng and Chinese (big5) characters, the page did display Chinese characteres correctly.  However, whenever I had to make changes to the existing pages, all previously entered Chinese charactered turned to as non-readable characters inside the editing box; and I had to copy (from the bottom preview) correct Chinese characters back into the editing box.
Am wondering if there's any way to solve this problem.  I had tried looking into all .php files and replacing any 'utf-8' with 'big5', but it still didn't help, either.
Thanks again for any help/advice in advance!!  :-)

Re: Encoding problem with existing wiki page

LabWiki, which is getting a bit old and hardly used outside the P. Stanley lab (http://stanxterm.aecom.yu.edu/wiki/)., has many bugs including those related to internationalization. I suggest not using it until a new version is released.

Also, consider Dokuwiki (http://wiki.splitbrain.org/wiki:dokuwiki).
