[Bio-linux-dev] zram swap

Hi Tony,

OK, so this was fundamentally an issue with the Bio-Linux 6 installer
that is impacting BL7 as it persists through the upgrade?

But it's not affecting any of the test machines here, and the upgrade
script already removes casper (see line 26) and then the initramfs is
going to be rebuilt every time a new kernel is installed or plymouth is
updated - both of which happen during the upgrade. So I don't think the
cause here is as straightforward as you think. Ubiquity should indeed
be removed after installation but it shouldn't do anything on the system
unless it's run so is not a major concern.

Do other people on this list find they have compressed swap still
enabled on their machine? To check, simply run 'swapon -s' and look for
'/dev/zram0' in the output. (If you see '/dev/mapper/cryptswap1' this
is normal for any machine with encrypted accounts on it.)

Cheers,

TIM
