Whoops -- fixed that, sorry.  I've got to change the paranoid umask on
the fas account....

Thomas:  I'll help you get up to speed on pygtk/pygnome based on what I've
learned (though that's not much -- what you see in mavric's gui.py and
events.py is the extent of it :) and maybe you could give a Tk version of
the gui module a shot.  In the meantime we can both contribute to the core
phylogenetic modules, and I'll keep on with the pygnome end of things. 
Maybe once there are prototypes with both widget sets, it will become
apparent that one is better suited for the project.  The gui is still
simple enough at this stage that two prototypes are not unrealistic, I
think.
