Hej,
I switched over to tkinter and created a pyphy cvs module containing mavric
(both Gtk and Tk).
The reason is a.o. that I need the pyphy module for this paper and my next
project - and I definitely want to use mavric to generate the trees for the
paper ... and continuing with Gtk/Gnome was far to time consuming.
Jeff:
How should we refer to Loci/pyphy/mavric when using loci generated tree
pictures in papers ?
Right now there are 2 graphic versions - Gtk and Tk, both based on Ricks
original code.
I made a small addition to the treeUtils in the Fnode class - all other
changes/additions are in the bb_*.py files.
So if we are temporarily using two different graphic kits - we have to keep
the base compatible (read: the Tree class)
Rick - are you going to continue on the Gtk version or do you want to work
with tkinter (or both :-)
As mentioned - I put the mavric module under cvs.
My procedure to start working:
cd ~/code/work
setenv CVSROOT ':pserver:thomas@theopenlab.uml.edu:/home/cvs'
cvs login
cvs checkout pyphy # that creates ~/code/work/pyphy and
# ~/code/work/pyphy/mavric
cd pyphy/mavric
... start hacking ...
cvs commit
Is this Ok with everyone ?
