Rule syntax checking unable to understeand user defined pref

Syntax check of rules does considers as errors "non-default" namespaces.
Right now syntax errors in rules are reported as warnings, and even uncorrect rules are feed to the resoner (that may then complain). There should be a way to report a proper syntax checking output that "knows" user defined namespaces.
