Cannot delete Connolly surface

On Molekel 5.2 to delete a previously generated Connolly surface the surface has to be re-computed in order for the 'remove' button to be enabled.
The 'remove' button in the SES dialog is always disabled when the dialog opens whether the SES is present or not.
