By default, project websites will be set up with a simple wiki system. This will allow project members to easily develop content for the Web, on the Web. Alternately, you can install your own website or link your project's "homepage" to an external website.
Each project may also activate, upon request, an Apache-style cgi-bin directory. CGI can be executed only from the cgi-bin directory and is ScriptAliased to:
http://www.bioinformatics.org/yourproject/cgi-bin/
The Apache server is compiled with PHP, MySQL and PostgreSQL support, and is also able to access your optional database.
If you would like Bioinformatics.org to host certain, optional Web services, please send a request to the Bioinformatics.org system administrators with a description of the services you require.
