Most of our work will be done on the IST Unix system, which is available campuswide. In the bioinformatics lab, we will be using SunRay terminals. However, your Unix account can be accessed from any open area Unix or Linux machine.

Open Area Labs
You can login to your Unix account at any IST Open Area Lab. These labs have an assortment of Unix terminals and workstations, Linux workstations, and lineprinters.
One reason you can not log in from terminal (Justin has experienced this)
You have used up all your quota. How to get over it? Log in from command line and delete some unused big files, and try again.
