    Events: GMOD Community Meeting
Submitted by girlwithglasses; posted on Thursday, February 28, 2013

    DATES: April 5-6, 2013
    LOCALE: Cambridge, UK
    URL: http://gmod.org/wiki/April_2013_GMOD_Meeting

Registration for the GMOD Community Meeting is now open.

The Generic Model Organism Database (GMOD) project provides a collection of open-source interoperable software tools for annotating, visualizing, managing, and analyzing biological data. GMOD software includes the ubiquitous GBrowse, JBrowse, the Chado db schema, Galaxy, (Web)Apollo, MAKER, Biomart, Intermine, Pathway Tools, and more.

The GMOD community meeting gives users and developers a chance to get together, get up to date with the project, to discuss (and decide) future directions. As with previous GMOD meetings, this meeting will have a mixture of project talks, component talks, and user talks.

We also welcome suggestions for agenda items and guest speakers. Please feel free to email help[at]gmod.org if you have any questions or suggestions.
