    RESPONSIBILITIES

    The right candidate will serve as a key computational leader of a cross-functional team charged with driving forward research and development projects that will directly contribute to the growth of the organization.

    REQUIREMENTS

    Technical capability expected:
    • Education (PhD) and experience in a quantitative field (for example, computer science, mathematics, or bioinformatics)
    • Strong command of statistics and probability and the application to quantitative analyses
    • Extensive experience with compiled (Java) and interpreted (Python) languages
    • Experience and comfort working in a Linux environment
    • Enthusiasm for working with large-scale data sets and gleaning novel/key features
    • Demonstrable logical and analytical thinking
    • Industry or production next generation DNA sequencing experience (e.g., product development and commercialization) is especially desirable
