RESPONSIBILITIES

The right candidate will serve as a key computational leader of a cross-functional team charged with driving forward research and development projects that will directly contribute to the growth of the organization.

REQUIREMENTS

Technical capability expected:

Education (PhD) and experience in a quantitative field (for example, computer science, mathematics, or bioinformatics)
Strong command of statistics and probability and the application to quantitative analyses
Extensive experience with compiled (Java) and interpreted (Python) languages
Experience and comfort working in a Linux environment
Enthusiasm for working with large-scale data sets and gleaning novel/key features
Demonstrable logical and analytical thinking
Industry or production next generation DNA sequencing experience (e.g., product development and commercialization) is especially desirable
