Proteopedia.Org, housed and developed at the Weizmann Institute of Science (Rehovot, Israel), is a scientific wiki about 3D macromolecular structure (proteins, DNA, RNA). For an introduction, please visit Proteopedia's Main Page. This list was established to provide a discussion forum for the community of Proteopedia users. Obtaining an account at Proteopedia.Org does NOT automatically make you a subscriber to this list. You must make a separate subscription request. People who do not have user accounts at Proteopedia.Org are also welcome to subscribe here. You are cordially invited to subscribe to the Proteopedia email list. This is the central forum where new capabilities of Proteopedia, as well as new pages of broad interest will be announced. We promise that such announcements will be infrequent (not more than one per week barring unusual circumstances). It is also a good place to ask questions about how to do specific things in Proteopedia, or to propose new features for discussion. The advantage of asking technical questions on the list is that all subscribers can see the questions and answers. Also, answers (sometimes using different strategies) can be given by any user, which takes some of the burden off of the development and maintenance team. Subscribe to Proteopedialist-for-users by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
