Locians, There's an interesting article at arstechnica about Mac OS X using XML for system configurations (first few pages): http://www.arstechnica.com/reviews/1q00/macos-x-dp3/macos-x-dp3-1.html (BTW, the article says a bit about the GUI and using large icons.) Of course, OS X is UNIX-based, and so this shows how XML can be used with more traditional UNIX tools. XML for configuration/preferences is something I'd like for Loci. Gary told me he'd prefer standard rc files. What do you guys think? Jeff
