[Pipet Devel] BL testing for everybody

Hi All,

With some help of Jeff the BL is now in cvs, so I would like all of you to give
it a try. I'm mostly interested in bugs that arise
because of another platform as I have. (Slackware 7.1\gcc 2.95.2\linux
2.4pre9\xamp playing Mahler's 1st symphony).

Some additional note for the current version (0.4.0pre10):
- needs Overflow
- needs omniOrb 3.02 (maybe 2.x will do?)
- ORBit 0.50
- gnome (I think any 'recent' version will do?)

Also to compile the festival plugin, you need to have festival 1.4.1 installed.

Once ./configure;make;make install has run you are ready to test executing the
BL, which is done in this order:
1. run the BabyBL: 'BBL'
2. run the BL core: 'BL'
3. run the admin tool (that has a initialisation stall of about 10
seconds): 'BL_admin'

Note that running the BBL inside gdb somehow results in a crash.. I'm trying to
fix this.

So go checkout cvs piper and give me some feedback,
