Embryomic development of Homo sapiens

All human beings are developed from fertilized eggs that about 100 ¦Ìm in diameter. What happens during this process? Which regulators control the development process? In our laboratory, we are working on mechanisms how eggs develop into a well organized adult body using both experimental and bioinformatics approaches. Two kinds of regulators we focused on are maternal factors and transcription factor.

Maternal factors of Homo sapiens and Mus musculus

Due to the limited microarray data, maternal factors specifically expressed in eggs are avalible only for Homo sapiens and Mus musculus currently.
