When a W-curve is rendered, the coordinates of the last vector are supposed to be displayed in the status bar. When a file is initially opened, the value is shown as 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, which is obviously wrong. If the window is unselected and then selected again, the coordinates are displayed properly. The coordinates should display properly upon initial opening.

Certain other event sequences can cause the status bar to go blank, these should be tracked down and fixed.
