    Real name Biography
    Rene Warren

I am a bioinformatician with extensive experience in computational biology and a regular reviewer for scientific journals Bioinformatics & BMC bioinformatics. I developed the first, highly cited, algorithm for short read sequence assembly, SSAKE. A modified version of the algorithm was used for sequence profiling of the human T-cell repertoire, targeted de novo assembly, HLA typing and its use was key to the discovery of Fusobacterium in colorectal carcinoma.
