Open Source Drug Discovery (OSDD) is pleased to announce a new operating system for drug discovery: OSDDlinux.

OSDDlinux is a customized Linux operating system that integrates open source software, libraries, workflows and web services in Linux to create an environment for drug discovery. This is the first time an attempt has been made to customize Linux to provide such services to the community, and it could bring down the cost and increase the speed of discovery. It will also allow students, academicians and researchers to contribute towards drug discovery/design.
