Journals: F1000Research -- waiving fees on software and web tool articles until end of 2013 (Sponsored Content)
Submitted by Michael Markie; posted on Tuesday, November 05, 2013

With just under 8 weeks to go until the end of the year, F1000Research would like to announce that there is still time to publish any software/web tool bioinformatics articles and their subsequent updates for free. F1000Research's system also allows the updating and threading of papers, which makes it easy to include updates about new software releases.

So, if you have a relevant paper to publish describing your bioinformatics software, you can use the code SOFT13 to submit free of charge before 2014 - For more information see: http://blog.f1000research.com/2013/07/22/document-your-software-updates-with-f1000research.

F1000Research (http://f1000research.com) is an Open Science Journal for life scientists with a unique way of publishing: articles are published immediately with formal, but transparent post publication peer review. We have a very strong bioinformatics advisory panel and editorial board including Phillip Bourne, Janet Thornton, Alex Bateman, Manuel Corpas, Steve Salzberg, Carole Goble and many more.

If you want to know more about us, then please contact the F1000Research team at research[at]f1000.com.
