RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serves as technology and process expert in product integration and implementation.
• Ensures compliance with best practices including adherence to federal IA standards.
• Collaborates with multiple stakeholder teams to ensure designs conform to best-in-class architecture and business standards.
• Develops robust and scalable solutions to support the business needs.
• Applies new industry and technology trends to solve business problems.
• Identifies critical path decisions, makes recommendations, and influences program leaders and business process owners to maximize project value.
• Participates in the preparation of long-range systems plans and ensures that they are in concert with business objectives and goals.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors and 10 years or Masters degree and 6+ years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• The Lead Architect shall have a Master or Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (bioinformatics, computer science, or related fields).
• Experience in the NoSQL technologies and the complex architecture used on the project and in designing systems with large data sets and many interfaces.

PREFERENCES

• Experience with Python, NoSQL databases, and AWS.
