    BACKGROUND

    Seven Bridges Genomics (http://www.sbgenomics.com) is building the most advanced cloud computing platform for genomics data analysis on the market. Voted "Best of Bio IT World 2013", we enable researchers to analyze genomic data faster and more efficiently than ever possible, so that they can focus on advancing the fields of genomics and personalized medicine.

    Our Distribution Partnerships team works to integrate our platform with providers of complementary services such as sequencing and expression analysis to provide a seamless client experience.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    In this role your mission will be to:
    • Engage prospective distribution partners based on their inbound interest and through outbound activities, moving them through the complete cycle from initial contact to mutually beneficial partnership agreements
    • Identify and develop new and innovative distribution channels
    • Team up with our internal experts to assist our partners in gaining the most value from our products
    • Develop and review distribution strategies, go-to-market initiatives, and partnership expansion projects with senior leadership
    • Develop compelling business cases and clear value propositions for prospective distribution partner

    REQUIREMENTS

    An ideal candidate would have:
    • Minimum of 5 years experience of building distribution partnerships, ideally in distributing complex SaaS products in the pharma and biotech sector
    • Demonstrated track record in closing and maintaining partnerships
    • A strong network in the biotechnology and pharma industry
    • Highly effective writing, presentation, and closing skills both at the executive level and with bioinformatics experts

    • A MSc or PhD in a field relevant to our business is a big plus
