BACKGROUND
A research fellowship position is open in cancer bioinformatics in the laboratory of Dr Andrew Beck at the Cancer Center at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical CenterRESPONSIBILITIES
Design and implement computational analyses of a variety of bioinformatics data types (including RNA-seq, and DNA-seq data) to explore the role of somatic genomic and transcriptomic alterations in pre-clinical cancer models and large patient cohorts. Specific projects will run the gamut from basic studies in cancer genetics to translational studies of novel diagnostic, predictive, and prognostic biomarkers.REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree, Masters degree, or PhD with experience with cancer genomics data and experience with Unix, R, and large-scale parallel processing. Prior experience with biinformatics for medical image analysis is a plus.LOCALE
