OpenTrons has a Kickstarter project to develop the OT.One liquid handling robot, which will serve as the core of their rapid-prototyping platform for biotech. The OT.One will use open-source hardware and software and will work with a browser-based application called Mix.Bio for collaborative protocol design.
They're trying to raise USD $100,000 by Nov. 30 and appear to be well on their way.
