RESPONSIBILITIES
The main responsibilities include analyzing Next-gen Sequencing (NGS) data, developing bioinformatics pipelines, supporting the clinical reporting team, and assisting R&D in developing new assays. The candidate must be currently living in USA.REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience:- MS in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or related discipline is required, PhD is a plus.
- Familiar with molecular biology, biological pathways, and genomics
- Experience in Illumina sequencing data and bioinformatics pipelines
- Proficiency in the use of bioinformatics software, packages, and database
- Proficiency with Perl, Python, R, bash, C/C++, java, and/or SQL in Linux/Unix environment
- Strong skills in the application of statistical analytical methods in genetic data analysis
- Excellent time management as well as oral and written communication skills
- Ability to quickly and effectively operate, communicate and influence decision making within cross-functional and multi-disciplinary clinical genetics team.
