BACKGROUND
Lehigh University is recruiting for new tenure-track faculty in Computer Science and Engineering to start in August 2016 as part of its recently announced Data X strategic initiative. The successful candidate is expected to develop and conduct a high-impact interdisciplinary research program funded by external support and demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate and graduate education. Applicants should have an interest in teaching core courses in computer science, interdisciplinary Data X courses, and courses in their own research areas.REQUIREMENTS
The successful applicant will hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field. The ideal candidate will have interest areas at the intersection of computer science and bioengineering including but not limited to bioinformatics, functional genomics, biomedical imaging, integrated sensing and diagnostic devices, computational bioengineering, biomolecular and biosystems modeling.
