    BACKGROUND

    Intomics helps pharmaceutical companies improve their drug discovery and development through better use of biomedical big data. We specialize in innovative solutions based on high-quality science and are looking for the next member of our existing text mining team.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    You will be part of an existing team of text mining experts who develop novel solutions for pharmaceutical clients, and we expect that you will be able to help take these solutions to the next level. As a former start up-company, Intomics has retained an informal atmosphere with room for technical creativity and you will get a chance to influence how our future solutions are shaped.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • MS or PhD in a technical degree
    • 5+ years' experience with natural language processing and text mining
    • Strong programming skills, e.g. in programming languages such as Python, Java and/or R, and experience with databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL). Statistical flavor is a further advantage
    • Experience working with very large and unstructured biomedical data
    • Excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills
    • Team spirit and ability to interact professionally with our clients
