    BACKGROUND

    We are looking for reinforcement for our locations in Aachen and Mannheim.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Your tasks:
    • Working on international consulting/IT projects with leading pharmaceutical and chemical companies
    • Analysis of lab and science processes, systems, and data
    • Developing standards for data exchange, integration and analysis
    • Semantic integration of (public and internal) databases
    • Supporting or leading the creation of sophisticated, high-performing lab informatics and data science applications at enterprise scale
    • Working reliably on projects within a given time and budget frame whilst maintaining our high quality standards

    REQUIREMENTS

    Your profile:
    • Experience deploying software to enterprise-level applications (with distributed data environments)
    • Experience in architecting systems for ingest, ETL, and search results
    • Server configurations and security aspects
    • Understanding of RDF, SPARQL and scalable semantic stores
    • RDBs (e.g. Oracle), SQL
    • Strong Java skills
    • Unit tests
