RESPONSIBILITIES

The Williams lab is seeking motivated computational scientists interested in studying long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) and their impact on human health.

We use diverse approaches in genomics, bioinformatics, molecular biology, and immunology to identify and characterize lncRNAs important in immune cell function.

Said computational scientist will be expected to establish and run pipelines for the identification and curation of novel lncRNAs. In addition they will be required to perform integrative analysis using diverse data sets, including RNA-Seq, ChIP-Seq, and ATAC-Seq.

REQUIREMENTS

Candidates should have a BS or MS degree in Bioinformatics or relevent biological sciences degree with computational experience. More experienced applicants with a PhD and/or MD will also be considered.
