RESPONSIBILITIES
The Assistant Teaching Professor in Bioinformatics will be responsible for teaching up to five graduate courses per academic year for the Bioinformatics Master's Degree Program. Teaching responsibilities are subject to modification based on the program's need and at the Dean's discretion based upon the time commitment of the service requirement. In addition to teaching, this person will be responsible for a service component within his/her role, which may include the creation of new graduate coursework, maintaining updates to existing curriculum, and program administrative help.REQUIREMENTS
Ph.D. in Bioinformatics or similar field required; Programming experience in Python, Perl, and/or R. Prior teaching experience preferred.LOCALE
