    BIOINFORMATICIAN / DATA ANALYST (REF: DO0025)

    We have an exciting opportunity for a Bioinformatician / Data Analyst to join our new Technology Facility. With £5m for new equipment and some 18 dedicated support staff, the Technology Facility is an essential part of maintaining and developing York as a major player in bioscience research through the central provision of both major capital items of equipment and expertise.

    You will take the central role in providing advice and training to users as well as in assisting them with their data processing and interpretation, and you should be a highly skilled data analyst with expertise in multivariate analysis. Direct experience of gene array data analysis will be a significant advantage.

    Salary in the range of £21,125 to £33,679 per annum. This post is available on a three-year "rolling" contract basis.

regarding summer training

Respected sir/ Madam I would like to bring the following for your kind consideration. I?am studying Msc Bioinformatics in Sri Ramakrishna college of arts & science in coimbatore. I have finished Bsc biochemistry in the same college. I have under went training for clinical laboratory in K.G Hospital,coimbatore. I wish to take summer training in your reputed institution. My area of interest is gene array data analysis & DRUG DESIGNING. I would like to take training one of the above. Please allow me to take training from your institution .
